YAY! I loved these past few days :) And I’m going to see the Nutcracker tonight for the first time. I’ve always wanted to see that! So excited! Love this season :)

Daniel and I drove to LA yesterday to attend a live showing of the Voice (yay!). We got to be under the “Friends and Family” list which was awesome! It started raining and they handed all of us ponchos. Such an adventure walking to the stage building with our silly ponchos. Too bad we didn’t get pictures since they didn’t allow cameras or phones :(

We decided to go to the LA Temple since we were already in LA. I wanted to stalk One Direction…. but being a good member of the church and all, we drove to the temple instead O:)

It was amazing! Even though every person we talked to would just talk to Daniel (him just getting off of his mission from England makes him a cool person or something…) and I would just stand awkwardly to the side, I still felt the spirit. We also got to go watch the family video in the family room, which always, always, ALWAYS touches my heart. And it always makes me cry because I think about how my family doesn’t have the gospel in their lives and how we can’t be together for eternity…. but this time, I didn’t cry. I just teared up. And it was because I was thinking about my FUTURE home/family for the majority of the time. 

I cannot wait to decorate my future house with pictures of the family, temples, quotes, etc. I want to have a room filled with gospel-related things. I want a room that we can instantly feel the spirit when we step foot into it. A room that we can go to for comfort, prayers, answers, scripture reading… to just feel the spirit. My family is amazing but we’re missing the gospel. The closest thing we have is me being an example to them and bringing the spirit in… hoping one day they’ll know and understand.  But until then, I’m going to prepare for my future family. I’m going to bring everything that my family didn’t have. 

I’ve been feeling like I haven’t been the best person I can be recently. Especially as a member of the church.  Going to the temple yesterday gave me determination. It gave me a little push.

The temple is amazing guys. The gospel is amazing.
